Analog with All Of It: Collage
The Greene Space at WNYC/WQXR, Charlton Street 44, Manhattan
$30
About
A hands-on collage-making evening, the first in the event series Analog with All Of It. Host Alison Stewart leads the series, and Luis Martin of Collage Dream gives guidance as you craft your own piece; materials like paper, scissors, magazines, and glue are provided, or bring your own. Representatives of The Romare Bearden Foundation talk about how New York artist Romare Bearden used collage as a foundation for his work. It is a chance to get crafty, hear from makers, and connect with fellow listeners.
