Array Collective: In the Round

Array Collective: In the Round is a free, building-wide exhibition of visual art at Irish Arts Center. It is the work of Array Collective, a Belfast-based group of eleven artists who create collaborative actions in response to socio-political issues affecting Northern Ireland, using craic and collaboration as a means of resistance. Curated by Maolíosa Boyle and Jonathan Cummins in partnership with Rua Red South Dublin Arts Centre, the show draws on works of the past several years, including the Turner Prize-winning installation The Druthaib's Ball, An Dún made for the Irish Museum of Modern Art, and the exhibition The Goose and the Common, which upends the language of protest, surveillance, defence, and displacement. The opening on this day is a free reception in the Devlin Café to welcome the collective.
