Author storytime with the creators of Between the Balloons.

An all-ages author storytime at the Children's Museum of Manhattan featuring the children's book Between the Balloons. Artist E.A. KAHANE and cartoonist Tom Toro present this magical take on the famed Thanksgiving Day Parade, in which larger-than-life balloon characters, marching bands, and delightful surprises fill every page. A playful blend of photography and illustration, the book reveals that with imagination anything you see can become something extraordinary. After the reading, children can let their imagination fly with an artmaking activity.
