CRS Fall Blood Drive: donate blood, save up to three lives.
About
CRS Fall Blood Drive is a blood donation drive. Congregation Rodeph Sholom hosts it to help The New York Blood Center combat blood shortages, grounding the effort in the Jewish obligation of pikuach nefesh, acting to preserve life. Donors can save up to three lives in just one hour; they should eat well and hydrate, bring a photo ID, feel well and symptom free, be 17 or older (or 16 with a parental consent form), and meet minimum weight requirements.
