A volunteer opportunity in which young members help serve lunch to community members in need, fulfilling the mitzvah of ha'achalat re'evim, feeding the hungry. It is hosted by Temple Emanu-El, which has served lunch for more than 40 years without missing a single week, together with its Muslim partners from Peace Islands Institute. Volunteering is followed by an interfaith pizza lunch at a nearby restaurant, and space is limited.
