About

BONE ASH, MEMORY HOLES, THE RECIPES is a solo exhibition of works by Yoshie Sugito at the NARS Foundation's Project Space. The Berlin-based Japanese visual artist tracks 13 Sichuan pickle jars that traveled from New York across the West Coast, Taiwan, and Berlin. Through recipes, notes, and drawings gathered along migrant networks and domestic spaces, she explores how culture mutates across borders. Her wider practice spans painting, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, and participatory installation, gathering personal stories and lived experiences into visual and material forms.
