About

An art exhibition presenting the paintings of Li Hu under the title "Li Hu: My Life Journey (1950 — 2016)". It is curated by Gan Yu and Ethan Cohen and presented by Ethan Cohen Gallery at the KuBe Art Center. The show traces the life of an artist born in Shanghai in 1950 who studied and taught painting in China, moved to the United States in 1990, earned a Master of Fine Arts at the University of South Dakota, and became a professor at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. Featured works include the installation "Silent Meditation" and the monumental triptych "Mass Migration", created between 2012 and 2016, a visual poem about displacement and collective movement.
