About
A concert evening titled "Bridges in Sound Concert Series: That's How the Light Gets In" featuring songs by Leonard Cohen. It marks the tenth yahrzeit of Cohen, the master poet whose carefully weighed words left raw musical gems that illuminate a time when truth and humanity are being questioned. Performers include Shira Averbuch on vocals, Dan Nadel on guitar as musical director, Meg Okura on violin and Satoshi Takeishi on drums, with special guests Cantor Chaim Dovid Berson, Cantor Shayna De Lowe, Shira Bodnar and Ronald Guttman. The series is sponsored by Congregation Rodeph Sholom and 92NY and co-sponsored by Congregation B'nai Jeshurun.
