About

Cittamani Tara Puja is a Buddhist ritual practice invoking Cittamani Tara, a female embodiment of the enlightened mind known as a source of swift help in everyday and spiritual matters, with mandala offerings and recitation of the Praises to the 21 Taras. It is led by Ven. Angie Muir, a Scottish-born ordained nun who has practiced Tibetan Buddhism for nearly 30 years and now serves as teacher in residence at Vajrapani Institute in California. The practice aims to quickly remove obstacles, develop wisdom, and dedicate the merit to others in need. Shantideva Center hosts it in person and online.
