About
A three-day, in-person and online teaching on Mahamudra, a Buddhist meditation tradition pointing directly to the innate clarity, openness, and wakefulness of mind. Teacher Elaine Jackson, a founding member of Vajrapani Institute and longtime student of Tibetan Buddhism, guides participants using Tilopa's "Ganges Mahamudra" through the view of Mahamudra, resting in awareness, working with thoughts and emotions, and integrating meditation into daily life. The teaching welcomes both new and seasoned practitioners, and no prior experience with Mahamudra is required. It takes place at Shantideva Center in Brooklyn, with teachings also joined online via Zoom.
