Club Kid
About
Club Kid is a comedy-drama about a New York City club promoter whose hard-partying lifestyle is upended when he discovers he has a 10-year-old son. It mixes the untamed world of nightlife with an unconventional story of fatherhood. The film is the directorial debut of Jordan Firstman, who also stars in it alongside Cara Delevingne, Diego Calva, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Reggie Absolom, and Colleen Camp. As the page notes, stranger things have happened in New York's club scene.

Critics
8.4Very good
Critics praise the film's humour, emotional depth, authentic portrayal of queer club culture and confident debut directing. Some note the familiar unexpected-fatherhood setup and worry the heavy meta-text may distract.
