Dalai Lama - My Religion Is Kindness

This evening presents an in-person screening of the film 'My Religion Is Kindness' at Tibet House NYC, followed by a Q&A with director Babeth Mondini-VanLoo. The film offers an intimate, wide-ranging view of the 14th Dalai Lama through his long-term engagement with the people of The Netherlands, including members of the royal family and leading artists and intellectuals, featuring Tenzin Gyatso, Richard Gere, Ani Jinpa, the Princess of Orange, Tsering Jampa, and David Bohm. It carries the Dalai Lama's message of inner peace, concern for the planet, and universal connectedness as an antidote to a world of polarization and war. The screening will be introduced by the artist Joan Jonas, whose work combines video, performance, drawing, and text.
