About

A documentary screening about a Japanese American filmmaker who connects his family's World War II internment with post-9/11 arrests of Muslim immigrants and joins the fight to free Palestinian activist Farouk Abdel-Muhti. Farouk organizes resistance among fellow detainees and faces abusive retaliation from his captors, while Homeland Security investigates the documentary itself and arrests Farouk's son. The event is presented by P.I.T. Solidarity Cinema at P.I.T. Records and Books in Brooklyn.
