Effortless Eye Use – Reading & Browsing Without Strain
The New York Society Library, East 79th Street 53, 10075, Manhattan
$10 per person
About
A workshop on reading and browsing without eye strain, held in the Library's silence before regular open hours, with attendees gathering outside the front doors. Masumi Kishimoto, a Tokyo-born dancer and nationally certified teacher of the Alexander Technique, leads it. By bringing awareness to how you use your eyes and body, you can read comfortably, reduce fatigue, and boost concentration. She has choreographed for venues including Judson Church and La MaMa and danced with choreographers in New York, Pennsylvania, Germany and Japan.
