Experiments Reading: SEDER
La MaMa, East 4th Street 66, 10003 New York, Manhattan
About
An Experiments Reading of "SEDER" at La MaMa. Written by Amy Shoshana Blumberg and Eliana Fabiyi, with contributions from an original devising cast, it follows Sue, who after 40 years of hosting Passover seders hopes her youngest, Miriam, will show up. When she does, the family retells the Passover story while confronting an identity beyond violence as Palestine is present at the table. The play asks what story the family will tell and who gets to be free.
