EXTERNAL EVENT: “Caring & Sharing Fall Benefit” at Metro Baptist Church

An evening benefit called “Caring & Sharing Fall Benefit” with mingling, light bites, drinks, and entertainment, honoring Andy Humm, former President of New Alternatives and Co-Host of GAY USA, with emcee Pink Pancake. It supports New Alternatives, which helps LGBTQ+ youth and young adults experiencing homelessness move from the shelter system to stable, independent lives through case management, meals, life skills training, educational support, HIV-related programs, and a supportive community. Attendance comes with a minimum gift of $50, and a portion of the proceeds benefits the annual Santa Project, a holiday gift program for the young people served. Support is also possible through an online silent auction, becoming an event ambassador, or donating.
