About

Get Lit: Hernan Diaz is a book club evening hosted by The New York Public Library and WNYC, with writer Hernan Diaz in conversation and a book signing. Alison Stewart, host of WNYC's All of It, leads the talk about his novel 'Ply', a story set centuries from now about an orphan who steals electricity in a transforming city and encounters a scientific invention that could change reality. Folk-punk musician Tami Hart performs songs from her new solo album, her first in 24 years. The event is free with first-come, first-serve seating and doors opening half an hour before it starts.
