About
The Library After Hours: Friday the 13th Edition is a night of horror, superstition, and mystery at the New York Public Library's Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. Hosted by the New York Public Library, it features live music and storytelling in the Rose Main Reading Room with glass harmonica player Friedrich Heinrich Kern and scary stories by Clay McLeod Chapman, Nneoma Ike-Njoku, and Angela Liu, plus classic films from the Library's collections and a horror book tasting with its librarians. Visitors can see a one-night-only display of rare collections material on witches, create a horror story inspired by the Picture Collection, and enjoy coloring, puzzles, and games with music by DJ René Hidalgo. The event is 21+ with ID required.
