Holter Museum of Art: Frank Hyder, Figuring Frank

"Figuring Frank" is an exhibition of paintings by Frank Hyder at the Holter Museum of Art's Baucus Gallery. It pairs his early 1970s paintings, long unseen, with nearly one hundred works made over the past year. The show traces links between his early practice and his recent return to painting, with figures, domestic spaces, and everyday scenes recurring across both periods. It was produced in collaboration with curator Gianna Sherman, director Christina Barbachano, and guest curator Ethan Cohen.
