About

ICP Photobook Club: Unsettling the Archives is a session of the International Center of Photography's monthly Photobook Club, held in the ICP Library, where participants explore photobooks from the library's collection of over 20,000 books and periodicals. This session is hosted by photographer Stacy Kranitz, a Pulitzer Prize and Guggenheim Fellowship recipient, and writer, editor, and curator Laura Hutson Hunter, arts editor of the Nashville Scene. They examine photobooks that challenge dominant narratives of representation, including Kranitz's As It Was Give(n) to Me and Ain't No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down. The free event, with RSVP, runs from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by an In Conversation event at 1 PM.
