About
An evening of jazz at Birdland Jazz Club led by the Jason Marshall Quartet. The group is fronted by Jason Marshall, a baritone saxophonist based in New York City and rooted in the bebop tradition, whose work honors the legacy and complexity of Black American Music. Marshall has performed and recorded with artists including Roy Hargrove, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Abdullah Ibrahim, and the Mingus Big Band, and leads his own ensemble as a performer, composer, and arranger.
