Jason Tiemann Quintet
The Django, 6th Avenue 2, 10013 New York, Manhattan
About
Jason Tiemann Quintet is a live jazz show at The Django, a cellar-level jazz club at the Roxy Hotel. The New York drummer Jason Tiemann leads a quintet with Scott Wendholt on trumpet, Tim Armacost on tenor saxophone, Luis Perdomo on piano and Paul Gill on bass. Tiemann, one of the city's most in-demand drummers, has played with jazz greats like Benny Golson, Dave Liebman, Harold Mabern and Eric Alexander. His group blends classic swing with the daring of today's rising young players.
