About

SI presents a screening of the documentary Marching with the Kasama, which offers a glimpse into the Philippine revolutionary struggle. Through voices of peasants, workers and guerrilla fighters, the film portrays a movement fighting for land, liberation and people's power. The footage is shown not as a finished film but as an outline, part of an ongoing process in which the filmmakers apply the method of the mass line to filmmaking. It is part of a weekly series held during Rafał Skoczek's offsite exhibition Kino Drift, inspired by Fernando Solanas and Octavio Getino's 1969 manifesto "Towards a Third Cinema."
