Minority Report
The Metrograph, Ludlow Street 7, 10002 New York, Manhattan
About
A screening of the science-fiction thriller "Minority Report". Directed by Steven Spielberg and based on a Philip K. Dick short story, it stars Tom Cruise as an investigator of "PreCrime" who arrests criminals before they commit their deeds in near-future Washington, DC. The film's vision of a world run on touchscreens and targeted advertising looks frightfully prescient.

Critics
7.8Very good
Critics praise the film's prescient vision of future technology, striking visuals, gripping action and thriller storytelling, plus strong performances. Some fault its dreary, grey tone, forgettable music, excessive length and comedy that undercuts its seriousness.
