About

Specky Clark is a dance-theatre work blending fiction and biography, following choreographer Oona Doherty's great-great-grandfather as he arrives in Belfast. Choreographed, written, and directed by Doherty in collaboration with the cast, it unfolds on a Halloween night through ten international performers in a powerful and darkly funny narrative. The 60-minute piece features music by Maxime Jerry Fraisse, incorporating new and existing tracks from the contemporary Irish folk band Lankum, with additional music by Gavino Murgia featuring David Holmes and Raven Violet.
