Poetry Circle
Riverhead Neighborhood House, Mosholu Avenue 5521, 10471, The Bronx
About
Poetry Circle is a casual weekly morning gathering where participants read and talk about poetry over coffee and tea. Poet Arro Mandell, who holds an MFA from the University of Michigan's Helen Zell Writers' Program, leads a discussion around a particular poet, theme, or craft element each week, and on some weeks participants write their own poems in response to a prompt.
