Short Attention Span Cinema: Season’s Greetings

An animated short film in which a young trick-or-treater hunting candy on a late Halloween night discovers the dangers of staying out past midnight. It was written and directed by Michael Dougherty, who made Trick 'r Treat, Krampus and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The hand-drawn film unfolds like a dark holiday fable, playful, eerie and quietly unforgiving, and first introduced the character Sam, who later became a modern horror icon.
