Family lab: make flying fall leaves.

Sunday Family Lab is a hands-on drop-in activity at the New York Hall of Science, running 11am-4pm on November 15, 2026. Families create colorful fall leaves from lightweight materials, then design and test their own autumn creations as gusts of air send them fluttering, twirling, and tumbling alongside real leaves and seeds. Visitors experiment with different shapes and folds as art and science take flight. Snacks and themed coloring activities are also available.
