The Fantasticks

The Fantasticks is a musical making its first-ever Broadway staging in a fresh revival at Second Stage Theater's Hayes Theater. Tom Jones wrote the revised book and lyrics, Harvey Schmidt wrote the music, and Tony winner Christopher Gattelli directs and choreographs. The story follows two neighboring mothers who pretend to feud so their sons fall in love through reverse psychology. The original production ran off-Broadway for 42 years and over 17,000 performances, the world's longest-running musical, with songs like 'Try to Remember' and 'Soon It's Gonna Rain.'
