The Gesualdo Six

The Gesualdo Six, an award-winning vocal ensemble directed by Owain Park, performs a contemplative concert called Fading. The program is inspired by Compline, the ancient service marking the close of the day and the onset of night. It pairs Renaissance polyphony by Thomas Tallis, Carlo Gesualdo, John Sheppard, and others with contemporary works by Sarah Rimkus, Joanna Marsh, and Gerda Blok-Wilson. The event is presented as part of Miller Theatre's Early Music series at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin.
