About
Trick or Streets at Essex Market 2026 is a free, family-friendly Halloween takeover on Broome Street outside Essex Market, part of NYC DOT's Trick-or-Streets initiative. Essex Market and the Lower East Side Partnership host an all-ages afternoon of treats and live entertainment. There will be trick-or-treating, face painting, a bounce house, a photo booth and music, plus a costume contest where a photo-booth photo enters you to win.
