¡CalabazaFest! 2026

¡CalabazaFest! is a free, family-friendly outdoor mini-festival in Bushwick celebrating community, culture, and the traditions of Día de los Muertos and Halloween. It is organized by RiseBoro, with support from Council Member Jennifer Gutierrez, and returns after becoming a beloved neighborhood event. The day offers live performances from noon, including mariachi, folkloric dance, and youth cumbia, a creative costume contest with prizes at 2:00 pm hosted by emcee Ricardo Steven, local vendors, community partners, and pumpkin carving with composting by BK Rot. In case of rain, the event moves to the RiseBoro Youth Center.
