Vira + Friends presents The Soul, Enchanted

The Soul, Enchanted is a one-hour concert of music by international women composers of the past and present. It is presented by Vira + Friends, the multiform concert series founded by contralto Vira Slywotzky, and features pianist Ana Glig, Slywotzky and guest cellist Miriam Eckelhoefer. The program spans sumptuous sound worlds by creators including Alma Mahler, Florence Price, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel and Augusta Holmès, set to probing, pensive and passionate texts. The performers speak about the works, and biographical information about the featured composers will be on hand.
