"4/5 oder von der Kunst keine Fahrstuhlmusik zu werden" is a theatre piece about four older people and five chairs, one of which is missing. It comes from the Lucerne theatre group Zell:stoff, with text by Hannah Zufall and direction by Sophie Stierle, presented as a guest performance co-produced with Kleintheater Luzern. The four characters have known each other for a very long time; they reminisce, make plans and repeatedly test old age in a playful way, while grappling with questions about what to expect from ageing and society's tendency to overlook them. The production won the Swiss Prize for Performing Arts and was invited to the Swiss Theatertreffen and the Autor*innen-Theatertage Berlin 2026; it lasts about 80 minutes without an interval.
