Symposium on art and war, with Rabih Mroué.

A symposium with a panel discussion and a performance on artistic engagement with war and violence. It is organised by the Landesmuseum Zürich together with the SNSF research project 'Ästhetisierung von Kriegsgewalt' at Bern University of the Arts. In the discussion 'The Making of War Images', Kateryna Botanova, Joyce Mutiso and Rabih Mroué, moderated by Darija Davidovic, explore how images of war are produced and what interests and narratives shape them. The evening closes with Diana Rojas-Feile's multimedia performance 'Corazón Rudo' about the aftermath of the armed conflict in Colombia.
