Astrid Proll – «Zwischen Sturm und Stille – Wie ich der RAF entkam»

A reading with Astrid Proll at the Kapitel 10 bookshop in Zurich. As a founding member of the Red Army Faction, she was one of the defining figures of the early 1970s, and now tells her whole story for the first time. She speaks about her path into the RAF, which briefly offered her a chosen family, about departure, radicalisation, illegality, guilt, violence and her sense of justice. She also tells of the places where she found grounding: in London, where she worked in hiding as a car mechanic, and later as a picture editor in the international photo scene.
