bela & Gotgha

bela & Gotgha is a joint show at Helsinki Klub: the duo reunites on stage with feedback, guttural singing and noise. Since their shared performance at the Tanzhaus last spring, the duo continues its descent into different webs of relationships within the themes of romance, precarity, death and mourning. Gotgha is from Zurich and works as a composer, performer and sound artist; through the prism of noise, they explore sonic and performative states in which the boundaries between control and ecstasy become fluid. bela is a musician and performance artist who works with guttural singing and Korean existence, and is currently artist in residence at La Becque (CH).
