Blixa Bargeld turns words into sound: Poetikvorlesung.

The third Zürcher Poetikvorlesung concludes a week of lectures with Blixa Bargeld and takes place at Schauspielhaus Zürich. Marking the series' thirtieth anniversary, in which the German Seminar and Literaturhaus Zürich invite renowned authors, the frontman of Einstürzende Neubauten takes on the poetics lectureship. After two evenings at the Literaturhaus, the Berlin-based poet and language performer presents his solo speech lecture performance, combining spoken word, lecture and musical improvisation. Words are spoken, rhythmised and turned into sound, with the voice itself becoming an instrument; Vera Thomann gives the introduction.
