Derek vs Derek: two neighbours at war over their farms.

"Derek vs Derek (Festival FfF)" is a film shown as part of the Films for Future Festival 2026. It follows two neighbours in England, both named Derek, with opposing ideas of farming: one relies on intensive dairy farming, while the other turns his land into a natural paradise. Their conflict develops over years into a dispute full of heated and humorous moments, with animals escaping, fields dug up and streams dammed. In time, the intensively farming Derek begins to question his views, and understanding grows between the neighbours that makes reconciliation possible.
