About

"Lot Bò D'lo A (The Other Side of the Water)" is an exhibition of thirteen paintings made this year by Didier William, together with a version of his installation "Gesture to Home" (2024). William, born in 1983 and living in Philadelphia, works in acrylic, ink and carving on wood panel. Water is the starting point of the series: it evokes the distance between those who emigrated and those who stayed, while also being a threshold, a passage and a space of transformation. The exhibition reflects on the many meanings of home and on the power of landscape to carry stories across generations.
