Die Staubsauger schlafen im Schrank

"Die Staubsauger schlafen im Schrank" is a theatre piece for everyone aged 6 and up by Fiona Schreier (netzwerk wildi blaatere), a commissioned work for the Schauspielhaus Zürich. On stage, a clever magical creature meets a typically grown-up person: while one would love to invent fantastic stories but is not allowed to, for the other the whole world wobbles at every little untruth. Directed by Johanna Benrath, the duo explores the question of whether small, loving lies are sometimes better than the complicated, painful truth. With Mouataz Alshaltouh and David Rothe, stage design by Lea Niedermann, costumes by Mara Danz.
