DIE STAUBSAUGER SCHLAFEN IM SCHRANK

«DIE STAUBSAUGER SCHLAFEN IM SCHRANK» is a performance for everyone aged six and up, a production of the Junges Schauspielhaus at Schauspielhaus Zürich. The text was written by Fiona Schreier of netzwerk wildi blaatere and Johanna Benrath directs; it is a commissioned work for Schauspielhaus Zürich featuring Mouataz Alshaltouh and David Rothe. On stage, a witty magic creature who would love to invent fantastical stories but is not allowed to meets a typically grown-up person whose whole world wobbles at every small untruth. Together they explore whether small, loving lies are sometimes better than the complicated, painful truth – the piece runs 50 minutes without an interval.
