Talk: US foreign policy in America's internal culture war.

A talk on US foreign policy and America's internal culture war. The event is run by the Volkshochschule Zürich (adult education centre) and takes place at the University of Zurich. 'Politics stops at the water's edge' was once an American consensus: however the parties quarrelled domestically, the lines of foreign policy were drawn together. With the end of the 'unipolar moment' and America's war fatigue, fundamental disputes have now broken out within the parties themselves, reflecting the dynamics of the culture war and different visions of what America is at its core.
