The event is the presentation of the Jahrbuch Qualität der Medien 2026 with a panel discussion afterwards. It is organised by the University of Zurich, with Prof. Dr. Mark Eisenegger, Dr. theol. h.c. Guido Fluri, Benno Zogg and Dr. Barbara Josef on the panel. The topic is how resilient the Swiss population is to disinformation, conspiracy claims and fake news, and what role media use plays in this. The yearbook also offers current findings on expectations for the Swiss media's public service as well as on the quality, use and financing of Swiss media; the event takes place on site and via livestream.
