Digitale Antike: Die römische Stadt und deren Bewohner in Anno 117: Pax Romana
Asien-Orient-Institut, Zürichbergstrasse 4, Zürich, Kreis 7
About
An event centred on the video game Anno 117: Pax Romana and the question of how antiquity becomes playable. The University Library Zurich hosts it, with Drazen Aulic-Baumgartner and Tarin Zaugg leading the session. In the newest Anno, players take on the role of a praefect and build a Roman city in Latium and / or Albion. A Roman city is then explored ingame and compared with real Roman cities.
