Esgui - Leif Kaner-Lidström

A concert evening at Jugendkulturhaus Dynamo brings together two bold voices between jazz, pop and classical. Esgui, a singer from Lausanne trained at HEMU and ZHdK, unveils her solo project: songs in French and English with intricate rhythms and rich harmonies, accompanied by keys, bass and drums. Leif Kaner-Lidström, a British pianist and member of the Levitation Orchestra, creates a cinematic soundscape blending classical form with folk-like harmony and soulful rhythm. He is joined by tenor saxophone, guitar, bass and drums.
