About
A concert in the Folk & World series with the Issa Kouyaté Trio. The Senegalese singer and composer Issa Kouyaté, a virtuoso of the kora from a renowned Griot family, joins Márcio de Sousa and Joël Burkhard to fuse West African tradition, Afrobeat and jazz. His music is deeply rooted in the history and myths of West Africa, and he builds bridges between the countries he travels and his homeland Senegal.
