Handpan Workshop und Dinner for beginners.

A handpan workshop with a shared dinner at the Gemeinschaftszentrum Oerlikon: beginners and the curious learn the basics of the instrument and play simple grooves and melodies – no prior experience and no pressure to perform. The evening is led by Yuri Ciccone of the Panima Handpan Academy, who has been playing handpan for six years and is eager to share his knowledge, experience and enthusiasm. Playing takes place in the D Kurd and D Amara/Celtic scales, with a shared break during which a vegetarian dinner is served. Those who own a compatible instrument tuned to 440 Hz can bring it, and there is also the option to rent a handpan.
