ICH.KRIEG.DIE.KRISE

ICH.KRIEG.DIE.KRISE is a theatre play against war for ages 14 and up, shown as a guest performance at MAXIM Theater. Since September 2025, the Cologne-based association schauWERK has been exploring the mechanisms and forms of German war propaganda together with teenagers and young adults. In the play, the participants pose critical questions, highlight power imbalances and try out resistance with all its consequences. The production deals with war and physical, psychological and sexual violence in verbal form, with gunshots and loud noises.
