Innehalten am Mittag

"Innehalten am Mittag" is a short midday event of an impulse followed by shared silence, inviting encounter with different religious traditions. It is run by the Paulus Akademie, led by Adrienne Hochuli and Caroline Krüger, and takes place in the Room of Silence during the "Woche der Religionen". On this day Dilek Uçak-Ekinci, a Muslim chaplain and head of clinical and hospital chaplaincy at QuaMS – Muslimische Seelsorge Zürich, shares something personally meaningful to her, such as a sacred text, a prayer, a ritual or an image. Afterwards the group remains together in silence.
